Seneca Presbyterian Church

Welcome to Seneca Presbyterian Church - a congregation of truly amazing people! We are retirees - mostly - who have come to the upstate of South Carolina from many states in our nation - New York, Ohio, Maine, Michigan - and so many more. We are also native Seneca-ites! There are families in our church family who have been members of SPC for multiple generations. Members of SPC have been leaders in Seneca and Oconee County since we were founded in 1875. And that trend continues even today.

You can find SPC people actively engaged in ministry throughout Oconee County. From the Golden Corner Food Bank, the Rosa Clark Clinic, Our Daily Bread, Our Daily Rest, Habitat for Humanity, and most especially the Oconee Presbyterian Service Fund, SPC people live out their faith in generous giving of their time, their resources, and their hearts.

Inside our walls, you find a congregation of gracious welcome. Come worship with us any Sunday and test us out! We worship in a contemporary style at 9:00 a.m. and in a traditional style at 11:00 - both in our sanctuary.

I am both proud of "my people" and consider myself richly blessed to be their pastor.

You can find Seneca Presbyterian (115 West South First St.) at the corner of West South First Street and South Oak Street very near downtown Seneca, South Carolina. If you are traveling on highway 123, come to what used to be called Miracle Circle. It's the intersection of highway 123/Clemson Blvd. and West North First Street. (Coming from the east, you will see a water tower with an big paw on it off to your right. You would then turn left.) Go about 1.4 miles, then turn right on Oak. We are just over the railroad bridge on your left.

  1. SPC is not "just" a church. We are a family who feel at home with one another.A family of different ideas and ways to express their faith. We are a family that truly welcomes all. We laugh, cry and rejoice together. But most of all we love..we love God our maker and each other.
